Refunds & Returns

Rays of Earth operates in accordance with the return and refund terms outlined below.

Please go to your account to request your return.

We want you to love your Rays of Earth pieces. If it’s not quite right, you may request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery, subject to the terms below.

Return Eligibility

Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return, refund, store credit, or exchange unless faulty.

 

How to Make a Return

Returning an item is simple.

1. Log in to your Rays of Earth account and select the order you'd like to return.
2. Click Request Return, choose the item(s) you'd like to return, and submit your request.
3. Alternatively, you can email hello@raysofearth.com with your order number and reason for your return.
4. If your request is approved, we'll send you the return instructions by email.
5. Carefully package your item in accordance with our Return Conditions and return it using a tracked shipping service.
6. Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Looking to exchange? Simply place a new order for your preferred size or style to secure your chosen item while your return is being processed. If you'd like assistance choosing a size or finding an alternative style, just let us know your preferred item(s) in your return request — we're always happy to help.

 

Return Conditions

Returns are accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:

• Items are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

• Hygiene liners and original tags are fully intact

• Items are folded neatly and returned in original protective packaging

• The original Rays of Earth swim pouch is included

Returns that do not meet these conditions will be refused.

Please avoid perfume, lotion, body oil, or makeup contact.
Swim bottoms should be tried on over underwear.

If the original Rays of Earth swim pouch is not returned, a £15 deduction will be applied to any approved refund.

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before they have been fulfilled.

As we begin processing orders quickly, we cannot guarantee cancellation requests once an order has entered fulfilment or has been dispatched.

If your order has already been fulfilled, our standard returns policy will apply.

 

Return Authorisation

All returns and exchanges must be authorised before being sent.

To request a return or exchange, please contact us via the Contact Us page or email hello@raysofearth.com with your order number and reason for return.
Unauthorised returns may be refused.

 

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping for all returns and exchanges.

We strongly recommend using a tracked service, as Rays of Earth is not responsible for items lost in transit.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

Need a different size or style? We're here to help.

To exchange an item, simply return your original order in accordance with our Returns Policy and place a new order for your preferred size or style.

As our collections are produced in limited quantities, placing a new order secures your preferred item while your return is being processed, helping to avoid disappointment.

Once your return has been received and approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. New orders are shipped in accordance with our standard Shipping Policy.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified of approval or refusal.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.

 

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are purchasing from the European Union, you may have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, log in to your Rays of Earth account  and submit a return request, or email hello@raysofearth.com before returning your order. We will provide instructions for returning eligible items.

Please note: for hygiene reasons, this right does not apply to swimwear where the hygiene liner has been removed after delivery or where the item has been worn beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and fit.

Eligible items must be returned in accordance with the return conditions set out above.

 

Refused Returns

Returns may be refused if, including but not limited to:

• Signs of wear, washing, staining, odour, or damage

• Missing or removed hygiene liners or tags

• Missing original packaging or swim pouch

Refused returns will not be refunded or exchanged.

At the customer’s request, refused items may be returned at their expense.
If return shipping is not arranged within 14 days, items may be responsibly handled in line with our sustainability practices.

Rays of Earth reserves the right to refuse returns in cases of suspected misuse or abuse of this policy.

 

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact hello@raysofearth.com within 14 days of delivery.

Please include:

• Your order number

• Clear photos of the issue

• A brief description

Approved faulty items will be replaced or refunded at no additional cost.
Damage caused by wear, misuse, improper care, or normal handling is not considered a fault.
